Posted
Several road closures remain in effect in southern Warren County Monday morning after heavy rain and flooding over the weekend.Highway 94 is closed between Treloar and Pinckney and west of Case in the southwestern corner of the county. A small section of Highway Y southwest of Jonesburg is closed where it crosses Bear Creek.Portions of Highway 47 are at risk of flooding, but Marthasville Fire Chief Jeff Backhaus said so far the road has remained open, including the Missouri River bridge north of Washington."I anticipate it will stay open," Backhaus said. "I would say we would need another 2 to 3 foot rise before (water) would come over 47. ... It will be very close."The Marthasville Volunteer Fire Department released a statement late Sunday saying Highway 47 will be closed in segments if needed. The first portion to close would be just north of Highway 94.A flood warning is in effect in Warren County and throughout the St. Louis region until Tuesday at 11 a.m. More rain is expected Wednesday into Thursday. To view current road conditions, check the Missouri Department of Transportation's online map at http://traveler.modot.org/map.

Water flows over Dry Fork Road on Saturday after heavy rain, bringing a pile of debris. Waters remained high and kept some roads closed through the weekend.
