Flooding has blocked all access to the Missouri River bridge on Highway 47, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT).The bridge had remained open as long as a detour on Highway 94 through Dutzow was passable, but that route flooded late Wednesday evening."We don't know the duration of this closure," said Brian Untiedt, MoDOT assistant maintenance and traffic engineer of the Northeast District.The best source of updated information is the online traveler map at http://traveler.modot.org/map. MoDOT customer service reps are answering thousands of calls every day about the flooding situation, so people with internet access are encouraged to refer to the traveler map.If needed, MoDOT customer service reps are available 24/7 to assist at 1-888-275-6636.
