A 12-year-old boy suffered serious injuries Friday afternoon, April 18, when the ATV he was riding on overturned and landed on him.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported Dennis Orf, Warrenton, was airlifted to Cardinal Glennon Hospital following the 2:40 p.m. accident. The crash occurred in the 2300 block of Santa Maria Drive in Warrenton.
The patrol said the driver of the 2005 Polaris Ranger, identified as Andrew D. Likes, 33, Warrenton, was making a sharp u-turn when the ATV flipped. The patrol said neither occupant was wearing a safety device.
