Turning Point Advocacy Services has set the date for its premiere annual event, Boots ‘n Bling.The event will be held Friday, April 12, at the Aspen Center in Innsbrook. Doors open at 6 p.m.This year’s guest speaker is the Honorable Kelly Boniec, an associate circuit judge in Montgomery County who handles a variety court cases.She was an assistant prosecutor in Montgomery County and served as the county’s elected prosecutor for seven years.As a guest speaker, Boniec will discuss her experience in prosecuting and hearing cases in family, criminal and civil law that connect with Turning Point’s work as advocates and educators in sexual abuse.Guests at Boots ‘n Bling will enjoy dinner, a live auction and dancing.
