Wright City’s Board of Aldermen has banned parking on Cooperative Way. The street serves several industrial businesses east of the city’s downtown area.
Aldermen said the move to ban parking was in the interest of public safety. Effective immediately, city staff will put up ‘No Parking’ signs along both sides of the street.
The ordinance to ban parking passed with a unanimous vote at the board of aldermen’s regular meeting Nov. 9. The Wright City Board of Aldermen meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month, 6:30 p.m. at Wright City Hall.
