The Blue & Gold anniversary gala marked a remarkable milestone this March, celebrating its 25th year. Held at the Wright City Lions Club, the event attracted a sold-out crowd, dressed in gala style.
Attendees enjoyed an evening of fun, speeches from past scholarship winners, and memorable moments honoring the Blue & Gold legacy. Organizers expressed gratitude for the continued support, crediting the event's success to dedicated volunteers, sponsors, and the vibrant Wright City community.
For more than 25 years, the WCHS Scholarship Fund has provided awards exceeding $1 million to more than 500 students. This year's event generated approximately $135,000, which will be allocated to further support future scholarships.
Among the evening’s memorable moments was the much-anticipated Dessert Dash auction, featuring more than 40 premium desserts for guests to choose from. The Dessert Dash succeeded in raising $16,500.
Three scholarship recipients took the stage to share their inspiring journeys. Hearing about the outstanding accomplishments of these young people was truly encouraging.
