Emily Beumel was named to the GAC North first team, while two Lady Warriors were named to the second team.
Beumel was named to the GAC North first team as a goalie.
Beumel was the team’s starting goalie this season. She recorded over 300 saves in 21 games this season.
“She had 323 saves, which was the most in the area,” Warrenton girls soccer coach Amy Wargowsky said.
Beumel recorded 30 saves in Warrenton’s district tournament game against Hannibal. Warrenton played the game without multiple starters.
“She thinks that was her best game and I think that was probably her best game,” Wargowsky said.
Beumel stopped over 79% of shot attempts she faced this season. She recorded three shutouts. She was the team’s goalie for nearly 1,600 minutes this season.
Teammates Bella Roberts and Emma Lange were named to the GAC North second team. Roberts was named to the second team as a forward.
Roberts recorded 21 points on the season. She scored eight goals on 19 shots. She recorded five assists.
A senior, Lange was named to the second team as a defender.
