Betty Jane Schulze, 88, Warrenton, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020. Betty was born December 8, 1931, in St. Louis, to Ronald and Viola Rice nee Ellebracht. Betty worked for Monsanto as an inspector for 28 years. She enjoyed sewing, crochet, embroidery, genealogy, reading, bird watching and making doll clothes. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Betty is survived by her children, Larry (Jeri) Schulze, of Warrenton, John (Pam) Schulze, of Foley, Sandra Schulze, of Warrenton, Carol (Sam) Rittenberry, of Old Monroe, Katherine (Ralph) Dollard of Lawrence, Kansas; two sisters-in-law, Alice Seeburger, of St. Charles, and Alice Polston, of Warrenton; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; She is preceded in death by her father, Ronald L. Rice, mother, Viola H Rice and her beloved husband, Henry Schulze.
Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 24, 2020, at Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton, from 4-8 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020, also at the funeral home, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Jeremy Klaustermeier officiating.
