Mrs. Barbara Lorraine (Nee: Parks) Motzel of Warrenton passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022. She was born March 8, 1938, in St. Louis to the late William and Mabel (Nee: Galloway) Parks. She had reached the age of 84 years.
Barbara married the love of her life, Robert Motzel, on May 9, 1975, in St Louis. They spent 46 wonderful years together and raised three children, Pam, Sherri and Robert. She always enjoyed throwing a fishing line in the river when she was younger. More recently, she enjoyed reading a good Danielle Steel book. What she loved more than anything was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mabel; siblings, Jim Hendricks, Mirell "Skeets" Parks, Hillard "Red" Parks, and Sharon Anderson. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert; children, Pam Frazier and husband Craig, Sherri Bishop and husband William, and Robert Motzel and girlfriend Becky Cullom; grandchildren, Cory Cameron and wife Kathryn, Cody Cameron and girlfriend Maggie Hollander, Lillian Bishop, and Cara Bishop; great-grandson, Elliot Cameron; sister-in-law, Loretta Parks; many other relatives and friends.
We will celebrate the life of Barbara Lorraine Motzel on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. Funeral Services will be held the next day, Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at 10 a.m. followed by interment at Warrenton City Cemetery.
