First State Community Bank in Warrenton is hosting a murder mystery dinner to benefit Relay For Life of Warren County.
“The Disappearance of Death” will be presented at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at the bank located at 1022 State Highway 47 in Warrenton.
“The Disappearance of Death” is about a celebrity magician, the Great Radinski, who disappears in a cloud of smoke and is found dead minutes later.
That is where the mystery and investigation begin.
Carie Biggs with Relay For Life of Warren County said anyone who likes a mystery will enjoy the dinner theater.
“The actors will each give a monologue about The Great Radinski,” she explained. “Then they will have dinner and there will be rounds of questioning. They also will be given evidence to evaluate. At the end they try to solve who is the murderer. It’s like the game CLUE.”
Tickets are $25 per person and include a salad, pasta dinner, dessert and beverages.
All proceeds benefit Relay For Life of Warren County. The organization is a part of the American Cancer Society and supports local programs that help cancer patients on their health journeys.
The seven murder suspects are played by Chris Kamper, Mary Beth Worley, Joseph Mason, Val Brunies, Doris Fincher, Loretta Runnion, and Greg Kemry. The police chief is played by Jenn Weber.
The play is produced by Brenda Welker and directed by Jenn Weber.
“Most of the actors are local and volunteer to do this murder mystery dinner, because they love theater,” said Biggs.
Costumes are welcomed. Space is limited.
For tickets contact Brenda Welker at 636-359-7327 or Carie Biggs at 636-485-2391.
