Samantha Tomasella, 21, of Ballwin, was traveling east on Interstate 70 on the afternoon of July 27 in Warren County when she attempted to pass Sarah Juden's vehicle. Tomasella then lost control and struck the left side of Juden's vehicle, according to the crash report.
Tomasella's vehicle then continued off the right side of the roadway and overturned.
Juden, 41, of Wright City, did not report any injuries in the accident and was able to drive her vehicle from the scene. Tomasella sustained minor injuries in the accident nad was transported to SSM Health Lake St. Louis by the Warren County Ambulance District.
Her vehicle received extensive damage and was towed from the scene by Prime Towing.
