The Paul Ballmann Memorial Benefit Golf Tournament is Saturday, Aug. 14 at Warrenton Golf Course.
The tournament benefits Marthasville- and Washington-area families in need of community support. This year, proceeds from the tournament will go to the families of Jeff and Mary Bollmann, Kristian McDonald, Brett Vandegriffe, and Jacob and Rachel Allender. These families are in need of support after shouldering the costs of medical expenses due to injury or illness.
The tournament format is a three-person scramble. Entry fee is $100 per person. Shotgun start is at 7 a.m.
The tournament will include three flights and a closest to hole contest. Over $1,600 in cash prizes will be awarded.
Breakfast sandwich, deep fried chicken, beer and soda are all included with the cost of entry.
This year is the 25th year of the benefit golf tournament.
