Dates and times for the Avenue of the Flags display at the Wright City Cemetery have been set for 2026.
Organizers are also seeking volunteers to assist with placing and removing flags at the cemetery throughout the year. The schedule is as follows:
Community members willing to help are encouraged to participate. Attendees should meet the Immanuel United Church of Christ lower parking lot.
Also, a Memorial Day service will be held at 2 p.m. May 25 under the flagpole at Wright City Cemetery. In case of rain, the service will move to Immanuel United Church of Christ, Wright City.
