The Warrenton Fire Protection District has once again failed to pass their $10 million bond issue, Prop L, garnering 2,024 votes for and 1,843 votes against. The measure fell short of the required four-sevenths majority by 4.8%
In the primary race for the southern Warren County district commissioner seat Dave Mikus defeated John Miller by a margin of 1,788 to 1,501.
Jason Sides has defeated Jodi Hayeslip in the primary for Warren County Coroner with 3,676 votes to Hayeslip's 1,760.
Mikus and Sides will run unopposed in the November election and will be sworn into office in January.
All other candidates running for countywide offices were running unopposed.
