Athlete of the Month: Savannah Miller

Posted

Savannah Miller’s versatility and steady play have earned her Athlete of the Month honors after a strong start to her senior season.

A four-year contributor to the program, Savannah has been a consistent presence on the floor, averaging 9.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game while filling multiple roles for the team. Her ability to adapt has been especially valuable, as she has played every position on the court during her career.

“Savannah has been a committed and dedicated player throughout her four years in our program,” Warrenton head coach Hannah Logan said. “She’s had some really big moments for us, and I’m excited to see what her final season has in store.”

That flexibility has been on full display this season. After playing everything from point guard to post player at the JV level, Savannah has continued to shift roles at the varsity level, often playing the 2, 3 and 5 spot within the same quarter.

“She does whatever the team needs,” the coach said. “Savannah is a steady, overall strong player who understands the game and makes the people around her better.”

Savannah also leads the team in hustle categories, averaging 2.2 steals per game, while providing leadership on and off the court as one of the team’s seniors.
