Grade: Senior

Favorite athlete/team:  Yadier Molina/ St. Louis Cardinals

Pregame music choice:  I really listen to anything, usually either rap or country depending on what I’m in the mood for.

Favorite celebration after winning a match or game:   The last two seasons, we would have a team photo and someone in the front doing a backflip so I would have to say that.

When did you start your sport? I started when I was about 6 years old

What made you join your high school team?  I had played baseball my whole life and loved the game so I just knew I was going to play high school baseball.

Did you play any other sports growing up?  I have not played any other sports.

Do you have a certain athlete you aspire to be like or model your game after?  Bryan Woo. I try to study his mechanics because he has really good mechanics.

What's your favorite memory of your time in school?  Hitting a home run in a tie game in districts my sophomore year.

What's the best advice you've heard? While you’re sitting at home there is someone out there putting in work and getting better. So get up and go be the one putting in the work.

How has your sport helped shape you as a person?  It has helped shape me as a person by always keeping me active. Baseball is an all year round sport if you play summer ball so having that many games and that many practices has definitely helped me stay active throughout the year.

Do you have a favorite college/pro team? My favorite baseball team is St. Louis Cardinals.

Do you have a teammate or coach that has been influential throughout your career?   Coach (Eric) Burle definitely has been a great coach throughout my high school career.

Tell me about a memorable win or accomplishment.  One memorable win was beating Orchard Farm my sophomore year to win conference.

What’s one piece of advice you would give the underclassmen?   Don’t be lazy. Put in the work. Have fun.

Do you have any pregame superstitions or a pregame routine?  I don’t have a pregame superstition but i have an in-game superstition. I always have to wear the same play caller every time I’m up to bat.

Do you want to play in college?  Yes I do.
