Associate circuit judge elected to MAPACJ board

Warren County Associate Circuit Judge Michael Wright was elected by the members of the Missouri Association of Probate and Associate Circuit Judges to the organization’s board of directors at its 100th annual meeting and conference that took place recently at Lake Osage Beach.Montgomery County Associate Circuit Judge Kelly Broniec will serve as vice president for the group.The MAPACJ provides continuing legal education for its members at the three-day conference. Membership is open to all state judges and commissioners in Missouri’s 45 judicial circuits. Among the over 200 judges and commissioners registered were judges from the state’s Supreme Court and its three courts of appeal.This year’s conference included educational programs on probate, ethics, Medicaid/social security and special needs trusts, human trafficking, civic education, child support, landlord tenant, limited driving privilege, horizontal gaze nystagmus field sobriety test administration and private probation supervision.Wright has served as an associate circuit judge for Warren County since January 2014. Prior to taking the bench he was the prosecuting attorney of Warren County for 23 years.Broniec has served as associate circuit judge for Montgomery County since 2006. She has been a member of the MAPACJ Board of Directors since 2012, and served as the membership chair since 2013.Warren County Associate Circuit Judge Michael Wright
