An asphalt truck overturned early this morning, Friday, August 16, on MO 47 about 4 miles north of Warrenton in Warren County or just south of Big Creek Bridge. MoDOT crews closed MO 47 between 8:30 and 9 a.m. for the wrecker service to remove the overturned asphalt truck. Traffic remained one lane until 8:30 a.m. this morning to allow motorists to get to work and school buses to get through the area, and then both lanes closed for 30 minutes to allow the wrecker service to pull the truck out of the ditch. Flagmen were in place advised motorists of the road closure. Delays may be expected and alternate routes are suggested.
