A Foristell man was badly injured in an early morning crash Friday when his vehicle struck the rear of a tractor-trailer on Interstate 70 in St. Charles County.Jon L. Albrecht, 30, was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in the city of St. Charles, according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Albrecht’s injuries were listed as serious. He was not wearing a seat belt.The crash occurred around 1:15 a.m. Albrecht was eastbound on I-70 near Cave Springs Road in a 2014 Hyundai Sonata. The patrol stated Albrecht crashed into the rear of a Peterbilt 579, which had stopped because of another crash ahead.The truck driver, Tony K. Jenkins, 51, Warrensburg, was not reported to have any injuries.Both vehicles were totaled in the crash, according to the highway patrol.Crash
