(BPT) - Quality high-paying jobs related to STEM — science, technology, engineering and mathematics — are expected to be on the rise, but the U.S. doesn't have enough skilled workers to fill those jobs. A new survey of 2,500 Americans, commissioned by Emerson, found that 2 out of 3 women said they were not encouraged to pursue STEM-related fields. YouTube science star Hank Green discusses some of the workplace stereotypes that prevent women from entering STEM in an effort to address the gender gap that currently exists.
