Step back in time at the Warren County History Museum’s new exhibit, “A Journey Through Antique Toys.” The display, open now through August 31st promises visitors of all ages a delightful look into the toys that defined childhoods across generations.
The exhibit features a curated collection including exquisite vintage dolls with period attire, as well as a colorful lineup of a Jewett pedal truck and other pedal cars.
The exhibit also celebrates the joy of family togetherness with classic board games and handcrafted wooden puzzles, some dating back to the early 1900’s. Discover vintage editions of favorites like “Monopoly” and “Old Maid,” reminders of evenings spent around the kitchen table.
Warren County’s farming heritage is honored through detailed metal tractors, plows and barns. The exhibit also houses charming children’s play furniture—tiny chairs, tables and cupboards—that evoke the warmth of traditional homes and imaginative games.
The museum has gathered local family memories, sharing heartwarming tales of treasured toys.
