The annual Run for the Wall Motorcycle Ride to the Vietnam Memorial in Washington D.C. will stop in Warrenton on May 19 at the Tribute to Veterans Memorial to honor Gold Star Families in the area.
The annual motorcycle ride is in honor of Vietnam War Veterans across the country and will be passing through Warrenton on Interstate 70 on the afternoon of May 19. Representatives from the Run for the Wall will stop at the Tribute to Veterans Memorial at approximately 3:45 to recognize Gold Star Families in the area.
Kathy Daly with the Tribute to Veterans Memorial asked that any attendees bring their flags to line the memorial for the run’s arrival and encouraged any Gold Star Families in the area to attend. She said the memorial needs to be staged for their arrival by 3:30 on May 19.
The larger Run for the Wall group will pass through the area around 4:30 that afternoon depending on weather and traffic.
