Warrenton's annual Fall Festival will take place on Main Street this Saturday, Sept. 21 from noon to 9:30 p.m.
The event will feature musical performances earlier in the day on the east stage including Butchwax and The Hollywoods from noon to 3 p.m. and Russo & Co. starting at 4:30 p.m. Headliner Lonestar will perform at the main stage on the west side of downtown near City Hall at 7:30 p.m.
Main Street will be lined with over 80 vendors offering all kinds of options for shoppers. There will also be a cornhole tournament held on Thurman Street.
The Kids Korner will feature plenty of attractions for the little ones including airbrush tattoos, balloon twisters, and the balloon typhoon from noon to 6 p.m. as well as strolling performers from 1-3 p.m. There will also be inflatables for the kids to play on from noon to 5 p.m. and a circus performance from 3-5 p.m.
The city will be providing shuttle services from Black Hawk Middle School every 15 minutes that day and asks anyone who parks on Booneslick Road from Morgan Street to Troy Road to move their cars before 6 a.m. on Sept 21.
Any cars remaining after that time will be towed to the city parking lot on Walton Street. The city will also be offering handicapped parking in their parking lot on Walton Street with additional handicapped parking available on Oak Street.
