The Daniel Boone Post 180 Memorial Day Ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on May 26. The guest speaker will be retired Navy veteran Senior Chief Nathan Hernandez, advisor to the junior ROTC program at Washington High School. Boy Scout Troop 359 will present the colors and the Post 180 Honor Guard will provide military honors.
Following the ceremony there will be a carry-in fellowship dinner with food and drink provided. The public is welcome, and encouraged to attend as the American Legion gratefully remembers, and honors those who have sacrificed with their lives so the United States may remain a free nation.
