Mr. Alvin Frank Dorman, of Foristell, MO., passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at his home. Alvin was born on August 10, 1938 in Dardenne, MO., to the late Virgil and Matilda (nee: Schulte) Dorman. He had reached the age of 83 years.
Alvin worked as a heavy machine operator as a Hoisting Engineer for many years. He was united in marriage to Mildred Annette Brittain on December 15, 1958 in Wentzville, MO. They spent 62 wonderful years together before her passing earlier this year. They had a special kind of love that many can only hope for. Alvin enjoyed farming and enjoyed his cattle. He also loved going deer hunting with his family. He was known as a fabricator and could build anything out of steel. Alvin loved his candy, ice cream, and coffee. He also had a special relationship with his grand-dog Hanna.
Alvin was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mildred Dorman; his parents, Virgil and Matilda; one daughter, Tracy Williams; three grandchildren, Jason Dorman, Lacy Dorman and Cherri Heiliger. Those who will remain forever grateful for having shared in Alvin's life are his 5 children, Steve Dorman and wife Susie, Peggy Heiliger, Joey Dorman and wife Tracy, Craig Dorman and wife Amy, Angie Schone and husband Harold; 14 grandchildren, Heather, Candice, Phillip, Nick, Lisa, Cody, Austin, Josh, Diamond, Cameron, Aiden, Jacob, Corbin, Alliana; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Walker; other relatives and many friends.
A visitation for Mr. Alvin Dorman will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021, from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, beginning at 10:00 AM, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Wright City Cemetery.
