Omer Allan Schraer of Warrenton passed away on January 10, 2022 at the age of 83. Allan was born to Omer F. and Marlene C. Schraer on August 24, 1938 in Warrenton, MO.
Allan graduated from Warrenton Area 111 High School in 1956, in his younger years, Allan helped local farmers at hay and thrashing season. Allan worked for his father before he graduated high school until 1978 then he assumed the management of Schraer Heating until the business was sold in 1982. He continued employment until Dec. 1984 when he purchased a truck. He then drove over the road until 1998 then drove local until 2004 when he retired.
January 14, 1978 he married Sandra Lee Fellin of St. Charles, MO, and they remained married celebrating 43 years together. In 2000 Allan and Sandra became members of Frieden's U.C.C. where he served on the church council and was a Deacon in the church.
Allan is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra Schraer nee Fellin of Warrenton, MO; brother in law, Richard (Sarah ) Fellin of Pinelas Park, FL; sister in law, Linda Fellin of St. Peters, MO; two nieces, Jennifer (Stefan) Juengst, Angie Fulks; two great-nieces, Zoey Fellin, Olivia Salter; three great-nephews, Cohen Fulks, Franky Juengst, Ronin Juengst. He is preceded in death by his father, Omer F. Schraer, mother, Marlene Schraer. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation for Allan will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, 10-11 am at Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton, with funeral services to immediately follow. Allan will be laid to rest at the Warrenton City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Frieden's U.C.C. in care of Pitman Funeral Home P.O. Box 126, Warrenton, MO 63383.
