Warrenton sophomore Carter Martin earned second team all-state for pitchers. Martin had a standout season as just an underclassmen. He struck out 99 batters, setting a new high school record for strikeouts in a season and allowed a .169 opponent batting average. Also, he tied the school's single season record with seven wins in the season.
In addition, Martin earned first team GAC North and first team district honors.
