AGAPE is hosting a trivia night to raise money for the fight against hunger and homelessness in Warren County.The event will be held on Saturday, March 30, at the Holy Rosary Activity Center. Doors open at 6 p.m. and trivia starts at 7 p.m.The event is organized in tables with eight team members. The cost is $160 for a regular table or $200 for a VIP table. All proceeds from the trivia night will go to support AGAPE’s programs and services.“We are looking forward to our third trivia night,” said Michelle Bernth, AGAPE executive director. “This is a really fun event where everyone can come together to have a good time and raise money for this important cause.”Participants at the event are welcome to bring their own food and drinks. In addition, signature themed cocktails will be available for purchase at the event. Along with the trivia, the event will feature a silent auction, prize wheel and games.The theme for the trivia night is Back to the ’80s and participants are encouraged to come dressed in the theme and decorate their table in an ’80s theme. There will be awards presented for the best themed table. Trivia questions will be a mix of ’80s theme and general knowledge trivia.AGAPE will be collecting laundry detergent at this event. The team who collects the most liquid ounces of laundry detergent will win a prize.“One of the things that people often don’t realize is that you cannot use food stamps to purchase personal care items, such as laundry detergent, shampoo, soap or toilet paper,” said Bernth. “Collecting laundry detergent at this event will help to stock our shelves and allow us to continue to provide these items to our clients.”Registration is open and tables are still available for this event.
