Agape Ministry of Warren County is currently collecting school supplies and monetary donations for the 2014-2015 school year.They expect to provide school supplies to more than 300 low-income students in Warren County.Gifts of cash are especially needed to purchase tax-free school supplies in the quantity and variety required. Donations can be sent by check to Agape Ministry, 713 Powell St. in Warrenton. Donors are asked to please write “school supplies” in the memo portion of the check.Gifts can also be made via credit card by calling 636-456-4645 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.School supply donations can be dropped into barrels located at both doors of the Warrenton Wal-Mart, Dollar General Store, Casey’s General Store, Agape’s Hometown Thrift Shop, and the Dollar General Store in Wright City.School supply items most needed include: colored pencils, washable markers, pencil pouches and boxes, folders, loose-leaf paper, composition and spiral notebooks, glue sticks, pink erasers, scissors, 24-count crayons, pencils, and black, blue and red pens.For more information about Agape Ministry, or to volunteer in the food pantries or thrift store, call 636-456-4645.School Supplies
