Absentee ballots may be cast in the Warren County clerk’s office for the Nov. 3 election.The only ballot issue is an annexation proposal by the city of Warrenton to extend its western boundary down the Interstate 70 corridor.Registered voters who will be absent from the county, illness or physical disability, caretakers of those incapacitated or confined due to illness or disability, due to religious belief or practice, employment as an election authority, incarceration, have provided all qualifications for voting, may cast absentee ballots.The clerk’s office will be open for absentee voters from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, Oct. 31.Absentee ballots will be mailed upon written request no later than 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28. The written requests must be signed and state the voter’s name, address at which it is being registered, the reason for requesting an absentee ballot, and the address to mail the ballot.
