To The Editor:
I was involved in a serious automobile accident in which my car was totaled on the North Outer Road by the Walmart Shopping Center (Jan. 31).
It is time something is done about that section of road before someone gets killed or seriously injured. I have reported that section to the Warrenton Police Department, the Highway Patrol and the Warren County Sheriff’s Department in the past because of people pulling out in front of oncoming traffic.
This particular accident I was involved in, the gentleman made a left turn into the shopping center as I was (driving) on the outer road. People aren’t paying attention when driving.
I would suggest “no left turn” out of the shopping center, but I know that would be extremely unpopular. Nonetheless, something definitely has to be done!
