The 2024 Sky Wars event has been canceled. The event was supposed to take place on Sept. 28, but has been canceled due to weather conditions and anticipated rain. The announcement was made last night. Sky Wars has been rescheduled for Sept. 27, 2025.
In a statement put out yesterday, the event team wrote, “This decision was not made lightly. Our fireworks field has already received between 5” and 7” of rain this week, depending on your source. We have been in contact with the Warren County Emergency Management Agency, who have consulted with the National Weather Service, who inform us to expect an additional 3” of rain on Friday 9/27 and on Saturday 9/28.
“With transportation on the field already proving to be extremely difficult for the pyrotechnic teams on site, it is clear that we would not be able to provide a safe or comfortable experience for Sky Wars attendees this weekend.”
Tickets that have already been bought will automatically roll over to next year’s event. If a refund is preferable, Sky Wars will send instructions on how to request a refund in the next few days.
