Two women were injured Friday afternoon following a collision on eastbound Interstate 70 east of Highway 47 at 4:25 p.m.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2025 Buick Encore, driven by a 77-year-old from Defiance was traveling in front of a 2025 Nissan Altima driven by a 29-year-old female from Wright City. The driver of the Buick slowed due to traffic and the front of the Altima struck the back of the Buick.
The driver of the Altima and a female passenger, 73, Defiance, were transported by the Warren County Ambulance District to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis with minor injuries.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol no longer releases the names of the occupants involved in injury crashes.
