Thursday's 60-degree heat wave will be short lived in Warren County, with forecasts of below freezing temperatures all day Friday and snowstorms beginning Friday afternoon.National Weather Service in St. Louis has issued a winter weather advisory for Friday, predicting a likely 2-3 inches of snow throughout the region. Saturday, more accumulation of less than an inch is expected with intermittent snowfall into the evening.Temperatures are expected to plummet overnight Thursday and not break into the 30s again until Saturday afternoon.Although a modest snowfall is the most likely outcome of this weather event, more significant accumulation is possible. Forecasting service AccuWeather predicts a 29 percent chance of 4-8 inches of snow in the Warren County area.Warren County R-III School District will release all schools at 12:41 p.m. on Friday.Winter weather
