On September 27, 2015 Immanuel United Church of Christ in Wright City will be celebrating its 135th Anniversary. Immanuel has a rich history and we are excited to be celebrating this special anniversary in our church life. The public is invited to attend the morning worship service at 10:30 am to learn more about Immanuel’s history and to stay after service for a carry in meal and fellowship. Anyone who has been confirmed at Immanuel will be recognized at the morning service. A special choir of former members and anyone with a love for singing is being organized to perform special music during the service. Anyone who would like to sing may join. The songs will be familiar and easy for all. If interested in joining the special choir, please contact Mildred Groeper at 636-745-2486 or Jackie Nierman at 636-745-3096. Mildred will be glad to send out the music in advance. Choir practice will be on the morning of September 27th at 8:15 am. Singers will meet in the fellowship hall for coffee before practicing the numbers.
