Mr. Thomas W. Denton of Columbia, passed away on Wednesday, April 24. He was born on May 14, 1962, in St. Louis, to Charles W. Denton and the late Mary E. Denton (nee: Sonderen). Tom had reached the age of 61 years.

Tom was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy serving our country from 1980-1984 on the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier. Tom was a very jolly man and never met a stranger. He was always up for a good time being the "Life of the Party" wherever he went. Tom was a huge sports fan of any sport at any given time  but he had a special love for MIZ, the Dallas Cowboys and the Kansas City Chiefs. He had a special hand in woodworking and crafts and loved to work on puzzles, he especially enjoyed listening to all Rock-N-Roll music. Most of all, spending time with his family is what meant the most to him. He was a loving father, brother and dear friend of many.

Those who will remain grateful for having shared in Tom's life are his father, Charlie Denton, his two children, Matt Denton (Niki), Paige (Keigan) Borgmann; his three siblings, Ted (Judy) Denton, Mary (Dennis) VanBibber, and John (Jenny) Denton; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life for Tom will be held from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, at the Warrenton VFW.  The family is in the care of Martin Funeral Home. Memorial donations are appreciated to the family in honor of Tom.
