A motorcycle rider traveling through Warren County was hospitalized on Sunday, Nov. 6, after a crash involving another vehicle on Highway 47.

The rider, Noah R. Williams, 23, of St. Peters, was attempting to pass a vehicle in front of him when he crashed into an SUV driving the opposite direction about a mile north of Marthasville, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol. A report from the crash states that the driver of the SUV, Katherine S. Wilson of Marthasville, attempted to avoid a collision, but that her vehicle was struck by the motorcycle.

The collision ejected Williams from the 2022 Harley-Davidson, according to the crash report. He was taken to Mercy Hospital Washington with serious injuries. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Wilson’s SUV ended up driving off the side of the road, the highway patrol reported. Wilson, 63, did not have any reported injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.
