The Wright City Public Works Department recently compiled a list of street repair and concrete slab replacement projects planned for 2022. This list includes only small street repairs, not any major paving projects that may take place next year.
Street repairs next year will focus primarily on residential neighborhoods. Of particular priority will be the entrances to multiple subdivisions that public works staff will focus on repairing first.
These are the priority projects for 2022, along with the size of the area to be paved:
• Falcons Crest Drive entrance, 1,950 square feet.
• Lake Tucci Circle first entrance, 210 square feet.
• Lake Tucci Circle second entrance, 434 square feet.
• Hickory Trails entrance, 536 square feet.
• Quail Creek Drive entrance, 72 square feet.
• Huntington Acres entrance on Browning Drive, 432 square feet.
Other than those priority items, public works staff have a list of dozens of intended street repairs in neighborhoods throughout the city.
• Timber Trails — 4,300 square feet of concrete replacement spread across 10 locations. Most of the repairs are on Wild Oats Drive, Winter Wheat Drive and Late Harvest Drive.
• Falcons Crest — 2,000 square feet of concrete replacement at three locations along Falcons Crest Drive, plus two driveway curb replacements in the neighborhood.
• The Shire — 306 square feet of concrete on Bombadill Boulevard.
• Appaloosa — 646 square feet of concrete at two spots on Horseshoe Court.
• Lake Tucci — 6,600 square feet of concrete replacements at 11 locations. Nearly all the repairs are on the main drive of Lake Tucci Circle.
• Hickory Trails — 1,100 square feet of concrete at seven locations on Hickory Trails Drive.
• Quail Creek — 238 square feet of concrete on Quail Creek Drive.
• Huntington Acres — 2,200 square feet of concrete to be replaced at four spots, mostly on Browning Lane, plus a driveway curb replacement.
• Spring Lake — 907 square feet of concrete at four locations on Indian Lake Drive.
• Carter Canyon — One curb replacement.
• Gettysburg — Extensive repair needs have been identified on Freedom Lane, but will not be addressed until ongoing construction in the area is complete or the road is becoming unsafe, according to the public works department. A total of 12,000 square feet of concrete in four locations needs to be replaced.
