Wayne Edward Diermann

Mr. Wayne Edward Diermann of Washington, MO, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, in St. Clair, MO. He was born on August 3, 1946, in Washington to the late Leonard, and Luella (nee: Roloff) Diermann. Wayne had reached the age of 75 years.

Wayne worked in the construction industry for several years. He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting deer, turkey, and rabbit with his beagles. He also liked to spend the day fishing. In his younger years, he played softball and was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinal Baseball fan. Wayne was also known for feeding a few stray cats that came along. He took a daily tour of his farm in Treloar, by driving his truck through the property, just to make sure everything was ok. Wayne enjoyed watching his step-grandchildren race monster trucks and pedal tractors, participate in tractor pulls and play baseball. Wayne was a wonderful man and will be deeply missed.

Wayne Diermann was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard, and Luella; and one brother, Marvin Diermann and wife Jeanette. Those who will remain grateful for having shared in the life of Wayne Diermann are his significant other, Yvonne Sprenger; two step-children, Jill Steinberg and husband Dave and Douglas Sprenger; three step-grandchildren, Jordan, Eric and Justin (Samantha); one step great-grandchild, Wiley; one brother, Robert Diermann (Wanda); nieces and nephews; Scott Diermann (Susan), Sallie Engemann, Tim Diermann (Ava), Dale Diermann (Beth), Kelly Sida (Jeff Becker) and Debbie Thomas (Robert); many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Wayne Diermann's life will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2022, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home in Marthasville.
