The Warrenton Warriors scored a pair of late third quarter touchdowns to beat Orchard Farm and move to 3-1 in conference games.
Warrenton (3-5) beat Orchard Farm 35-25 to win their second consecutive game.
With the game tied 7-7 late in the first half, quarterback Charlie Blondin threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to Colton Brosenne with 24 seconds left in the half to give the Warriors a 14-7 halftime lead.
Orchard Farm scored the first 10 points of the second half to take a 17-14 lead. The Warriors responded with a pair of touchdowns to reclaim the lead. Blondin threw an 80-yard touchdown pass to Mason Thompson with 1:32 left in the third quarter to give Warrenton a 21-17 lead. After Orchard Farm fumbled the ensuing kickoff return, Blondin threw an 11-yard touchdown to Thompson on the final play of the third quarter to give the Warriors a 28-17 lead.
Orchard Farm scored a touchdown and converted a two-point conversion with 6:32 left in the fourth quarter to trim the Warrenton lead to three points. Warrenton running back Austin Haas scored on a rushing touchdown with just under three minutes left in the game.
Warrenton will play at Mexico next week.
