Ashley Beaird, 36, of Warrenton, was seriously injured in a car accident on Interstate 70 in St. Charles County over the weekend.
Beaird was traveling west on I-70 around 6 a.m. Saturday morning when she fell asleep at the wheel according to the crash report. Her vehicle then swerved off the right side of the roadway, struck a guardrail and overturned.
She was transported to Mercy Hospital St. Louis with serious injuries by the St. Charles County Ambulance District. Her For F-150 was totaled and removed from the scene by Superior Towing.
