The Warrenton Police Department has released the following activity report.
Monday, July 8
Highway 47/Veterans Memorial Parkway, two vehicle accident. Vehicle one was traveling northbound on Highway 47 when the vehicle next to them began to merge into vehicle one’s lane. Vehicle one veered left striking the driver side of vehicle two. Significant damage was reported for vehicle one and it was towed from the scene. Minor damage was reported for vehicle two which was driven from the scene. No injuries were reported.
Friday, July 12
Middletown Road/Veterans Memorial Parkway, two vehicle accident. Vehicle one was stopped on Veterans Memorial Parkway due to construction. Vehicle one began backing up when it struck the front of vehicle two. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were driven from the scene.
Monday, July 15
North State Highway 47, report of male walking around a building screaming. White male arrested for possession of a controlled substance and multiple active warrants. A small clear plastic bag containing a white crystal substance was located. A field test confirmed the substance to be methamphetamine. Charges are pending lab results.
