The Warrenton Police Department released the following weekly incident report for the dates of July 10 through July 16.
Monday, July 10
Man on the ground moaning. Methamphetamine and syringes found during consent search of his belongings. Subject transported to hospital by EMS. Items seized. Charges pending lab results.
Store employee observed man fail to scan items at a self checkout register. Under investigation.
Tuesday, July 11
Man and woman from South Carolina had a verbal dispute while driving through Warrenton. After stopping at a convenience store the woman came out and she and her boyfriend were both gone. Missing Gray, 2016 Chrysler 200 with South Carolina plates. Vehicle reported stolen.
Store personnel observed man fail to pay for donuts. Citation issued to white, male, age 20.
Wednesday, July 12
Two vehicle accident, Driver One attempted a left turn onto North Highway 47 and pulled directly in front of southbound Vehicle Two. Driver Two stated he attempted to stop but was unable to avoid collision. Driver One complained of injuries and was checked by EMS, but ultimately decided to have her significant other transport her to the hospital. Vehicle One towed from the scene by Approved Towing.
Vehicle stopped for invalid plates. Adderall found during search of vehicle. Driver white, male, age 31 arrested for driving while revoked, possession of a controlled substance, operating motor vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility, operate motor vehicle with no title, displaying plates of another. Charges pending lab results.
Unknown subject took unsecured bicycle from outside of residence. Estimated cost of loss $100.00 for black Schwinn.
Thursday, July 13
Vehicle stopped for invalid plates. Methamphetamine and paraphernalia found during vehicle search. Driver white, male, age 56 arrested. Charges pending lab results. Passenger white, male, age 55 arrested for several warrants out of Wright City.
Man illegally in possession of a firearm. White, male, age 69 arrested. Under investigation.
Saturday, July 15
Victim stated a woman knocked on his hotel room door stating she was looking for somebody. At that time a man with a gun tried to force his way into the room and a physical altercation took place. The victim was able to close the door and the man and woman fled the scene. Under investigation.
Sunday, July 16
One vehicle accident. Vehicle’s towed unit struck portable basketball hoop which had been set up on the roadway. No injuries reported. The stand fell over and dented the trailer.
Store personnel observed woman fail to scan and pay for items at self checkout register. Estimated cost of loss $10.12. Citation to white, female, age 47.
