Warrenton Police Department report for August 28-September 3

The Warrenton Police Department released the following weekly incident report for the dates of August 28 through September 3.
Monday, August 28
Woman that was previously trespassed from Fast Lane was observed inside the women’s restroom. Citation issued.
Wednesday, August 30
Store employee observed woman intentionally failing to scan items from her grocery cart at self checkout register. Citation issued. All items recovered.
Unknown subject(s) broken through side garage door of residence and took several items. Chain saw, air compressor, battery charger, and box of hand tools missing. Under investigation.
Thursday, August 31
Subject slumped over steering wheel blocking traffic at stoplight. Officer detected the odor of alcohol emitting from the driver. Subject taken into custody. After further investigation the officer determined the driver to be impaired. A probable cause statement and warrant application have been submitted to the Warren County Prosecutor. Vehicle towed from the scene by Approved Towing.
Friday, September 1
Three vehicle accident. Driver One stated the sun was in his eyes and his vehicle struck rear of Vehicle Two which them struck rear of Vehicle Three. No injuries reported. All vehicles were operational and able to be driven from the scene.
Unknown subject made five fraudulent transactions using victim’s bank account number. Under investigation.
Store employee observed woman tear a a clearance tag off an item and then use it to incorrectly scan several items at a self checkout register. Citation issued. Items recovered.
Store employee observed woman attempt to leave the store without paying for several items. Citation issued. All items recovered.
Two vehicle accident. Vehicle One struck rear of Vehicle Two which had slowed to pull over to the right shoulder for an ambulance. No injuries reported. Both vehicles were operational and able to be driven from the scene.
Store employee observed woman fail to scan some of the items in her grocery cart at a self checkout register, then take the unpaid items to the customer service desk for a refund. Citation issued. Items recovered.
