The Warrenton Police Department has released the following activity report.
Monday, Aug. 5
E Veterans Memorial Parkway, motor vehicle accident. Officers were dispatched to the intersection of State Highway 47 and Veterans Memorial Parkway for a two car collision. Upon arrival, contact was made with all parties involved and all parties advised they did not require medical assistance.
Friday, Aug. 9
N State Highway 47, possession of drug paraphernalia. An officer was dispatched to the area of Veterans Memorial Parkway and State Highway 47 for a report of a suspicious person pacing back and forth. Contact was made with the suspect and the officer was informed by dispatch that the suspect had two active warrants out of Warrenton city. The suspect was informed of the warrants for his arrest and was then transported to the Warren County Jail where he was booked. A search was conducted of his person and belongings, wherein a used glass bubble pipe was located in a bag of clothes. The suspect was issued a citation, possession of drug paraphernalia.
Saturday, Aug. 10
Third Street, assault. After statements and video footage were obtained, a citation was issued for an assault in the vicinity of Third Street.
Wednesday, Aug. 14
W Booneslick Road, animal at large. A civilian witnessed an animal running at large near Buckhorn Court. Animal control issued a citation.
Thursday, Aug. 15
N State Highway 47, motor vehicle accident. While traveling northbound on State Highway 47, an officer observed a two vehicle motor accident. The officer observed both vehicles damaged and both appeared to be totaled and were then towed away. Both drivers were checked out by the Warren County Ambulance District and the Warrenton Fire Department and were both cleared to be released on the scene.
Sunday, Aug. 18
Lakeview Drive, operation of a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner. Officers were dispatched to the area of Lakeview Drive for a report of reckless activity. Warren County Joint Communications advised that an unlicensed SUV was doing donuts in the gravel lot and a citation was issued.
