A Warrenton man suffered serious injuries after a crash with an Omaha, Nebraska, resident on Highway 47 near Fairgrounds Road, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

A Warrenton man was seriously injured in a crash at 1:54 p.m. Feb. 3 on southbound Highway 47 at Fairgrounds Road.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report, Kyle A. Boatwright, 34 of Warrenton, was traveling north on Highway 47 in his 2008 Chevrolet Equinox. The report says he attempted to overtake traffice that was stopped in the northbound lane and entered the southbound lane, where he struck a 2016 Ford F-150 driven by Hans F. Maasdam, 46 of Omaha, Nebraska.
Boatwright was not listed as wearing his safety device, and was taken to Mercy Hospital St. Louis by the Warren County Ambulance District. No additional information was available about his injuries.
Maasdam, and his passenger, Amanda Holtz, 32 also of Omaha, suffered minor injuries. They were transported to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis by the Warren County Ambulance District.
Both vehicles were listed as totaled and towed from the scene.
