Payton Johnston-Hardshaw, 25, of Elsberry, was traveling south on U.S. Highway 61 in Lincoln County on Aug. 3, when she failed to pay adequate attention to the roadway and crashed into the rear of Garlayn Love, 43, of Warrenton, who was traveling in front of her.
According to the crash report, Hardshaw-Johnston received minor injuries in the accident and was transported privately from the scene. Love did not report any injuries in the accident.
Both Hardshaw-Johnston's and Love's vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene by Priority One Towing and Jackson's Towing respectively.
