This year the city of Warrenton is taking part in the third annual Feed the Masses food drive contest organized by Missouri Parks and Recreation Region 4.
Over 20 parks and recreation departments throughout the region are participating in a friendly competition during the month of November to see which city can collect the most food for their local food bank. All donations received by the city of Warrenton will benefit the Agape Food Pantry.
Donors can drop off any unexpired canned and non-perishable food donations to Warrenton City Hall, 200 W. Booneslick Road, or to the Warrenton Aquatic Center, 751 Warrior Ave.
Any donations brought to the Warrenton Aquatic Center will earn $1 off pool admission.
A few suggested items include peanut butter, canned soup, canned fruit, dried/canned beans, shelf-stable milk, canned fish/meat, canned vegetables, pasta, rice, breakfast cereal, oatmeal, and pasta sauce.
