Two men in Warren County were issued criminal charges after authorities learned they were having sex with a juvenile.
Joshua M. Young, 39, and Kevin C. Staley, 29, who both live south of Wright City, were arrested by Warren County sheriff’s deputies June 10. Young is charged with eight counts of second-degree child molestation and one charge of second-degree statutory sodomy. Staley is charged with three counts of second-degree child molestation.
Both men are accused of having intercourse with a female who is less than 17 years old. The victim told a detective this occurred on numerous occasions for more than a year, according to court documents.
A detective questioned Young on June 8, where Young allegedly claimed having sex with the juvenile on dozens of occasions. The following day during an interview with Staley, he allegedly admitted to multiple instances of intercourse with the juvenile.
The two men are being held at the Warren County Jail. Their next court hearings are June 24 in Warren County Circuit Court.
