The accident took place at Route D and Greenshire Lane around 3 p.m. Monday.
Kelly Priester, 53, of Washington, was traveling east on Route D in a 1991 S10 LLV Postal Truck when she aattempted to make a left turn onto Greenshire Lane. Wyatt Gober, 24, of Wentzville, was traveling behind her and attempted to pass at the same time she turned left.
Gober then struck the rear left of Priester's vehicle while attempting to pass, driving the postal truck off the road where it then overturned, according to the crash report.
Priester was then transported by private conveyance to Total Access Urgent Care in Washington. Gober was uninjured.
Both vehicles received moderate damage. Priester's postal truck was removed from the scene by Sturms Towing while Gober was able to drive his 2004 Ford F-150 from the scene.
